Privacy Policy for Dawnhub Tools
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Dawnhub Tools is a browser extension that adds tools to the Dawnhub website. This policy explains what information the extension accesses, where it sends that information, and how it is stored.
Information the extension accesses
When you use Dawnhub, the extension can access the information displayed by Dawnhub and returned by its API that is needed for its features. Depending on the page and feature, this can include:
- raid details, such as dates, regions, raid type, prices, squad leaders, and status;
- booking details, such as character name and realm, class, payment and deposit amounts, advertiser, notes, private notes, and booking status;
- your extension settings and configuration overrides; and
- the configuration, templates, and price data in the Dawnhub Tools Google spreadsheet.
How information is used and shared
Dawnhub
The extension makes requests to the Dawnhub website and its API in order to load raid, booking, price, and instance data. When you use an editing feature, such as editing a booking, correcting a buyer's class, or changing a raid's minimum-price setting, the extension sends the relevant updated data to Dawnhub to save the change. These requests use your existing access to Dawnhub.
The extension uses Google OAuth to read the Dawnhub Tools configuration spreadsheet. It requests read-only access to Google Sheets and the OpenID scope. It reads the configured spreadsheet, including its configuration, templates, prices, class data, squad-leader data, and other configured sheets; it does not write to the spreadsheet.
Google OAuth may open a sign-in or consent window when an access token is unavailable or has expired. The extension also obtains your Google account's stable OpenID subject identifier. It uses that identifier only as a sign-in hint on future Google authorization requests, so that Google can preselect the same account where possible. The extension does not request or use your Google email address, profile name, or contacts.
Blizzard Battle.net
Features that check buyers, VIPs, or booking information send a character name and realm to Blizzard's Battle.net API. The extension uses the response to check or fill character name, class, faction, and level. It also loads realm data from Blizzard.
Clipboard
When you choose a copy action, the extension writes the generated deal text or link to your device's clipboard. The extension does not read your clipboard.
Extension updates
Firefox versions of the extension check dawntools.rolich.net for available extension updates.
As with any website request, the update host may receive standard connection information such as your IP
address, browser user agent, and the requested update file. It does not receive Dawnhub, Google, or Blizzard
data from the extension.
Storage and retention
- Google access tokens and their expiry are kept in browser session storage and are used only to call the Google services described above.
- The Google OpenID subject identifier and a cache of the configuration spreadsheet are kept in the extension's local browser storage to make subsequent page loads faster and to remember the Google account used for authorization.
- Raid data may be cached in tab-scoped browser storage while a Dawnhub tab is open. The extension removes this cache when the tab closes and cleans up stale tab caches when its background process starts.
- Your extension preferences are stored using the browser's sync storage. If browser sync is enabled for your browser profile, the browser provider may synchronize those preferences across your signed-in browsers. These preferences do not include Dawnhub raid or booking data.
You can remove locally stored extension data through your browser's extension settings or by uninstalling the extension. You can revoke the extension's Google access through your Google Account's connected-apps settings.
What we do not do
Dawnhub Tools does not operate its own analytics or advertising service and does not sell personal information. Other than the Firefox update service described above, the extension does not send Dawnhub, Google, or Blizzard data to an independent Dawnhub Tools server.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension's data practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
